Music Data Base respects intellectual property rights and responds to valid copyright notices consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) where applicable.
Copyright Notice Requirements
Send copyright notices to info@digitalmusicdatabase.com. A valid notice should include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it on the Service.
- Your contact information, including name, email address, and telephone number if available.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-Notification
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to the same contact address including identification of the removed material, a good-faith statement under penalty of perjury, consent to jurisdiction where required, and your signature.
Repeat Infringers
Music Data Base may restrict or terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
Restoration and Removal
Material may remain removed during review. Where appropriate and permitted by law, content may be restored after a valid counter-notification process or when a dispute is resolved.
